1. Purpose
Noventra LLC is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud. This policy explains how we verify customers and monitor transactions, in line with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 and related rules for virtual digital asset service providers in India.
2. When we verify your identity
- We may ask any customer to verify their identity before or after placing an order.
- Verification is always required for orders above ₹50,000, for in-person meetups involving large amounts, and when we sell crypto for you or pay out INR.
- We may also ask for verification if an order looks unusual, if payment comes from an account not in your name, or if we receive a complaint or request from a bank or authority.
3. What we ask for
- PAN card (required for transactions above ₹50,000, and for all INR payouts).
- Proof of identity and address: Aadhaar (masked, showing only the last 4 digits), passport, voter ID or driving licence.
- A selfie or live photo to match against your ID.
- Where needed, proof of the source of funds, such as a bank statement.
4. Transaction monitoring
We review orders for signs of suspicious activity, such as payments from third-party accounts, unusually large or frequent transactions, structuring to avoid limits, or links to scams, sanctioned persons or illicit activity. We may screen wallet addresses using blockchain analytics.
5. Refusal and reporting
We may refuse, hold or cancel any order where we cannot complete verification or suspect illegal activity. Where required by law, we report suspicious transactions to the Financial Intelligence Unit – India (FIU-IND) and cooperate with law enforcement. We are not allowed to tell you if we have made such a report.
6. Record keeping
We keep identity documents and transaction records for at least 5 years, as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for how we protect this data.
